The Strategy for Nature Fund for 2025/2026 will open on Monday 1st September 2025.

Individuals, organisations and students are invited to apply for financial support from the Strategy for Nature Fund to support environmental initiatives that further the goals and objectives of the States of Guernsey 2020 Strategy for Nature and which help build the evidence-base to address the drivers of change as identified in State of Nature 2024.

A total of £40,000 will be donated through the fund in the form of grants, with £9,000 of that total dedicated specifically to a bursary for students completing graduate or post graduate degrees in a relevant subject with a commitment to carry out data collection for their research project on-island.

An application form to submit your request, as well as guidance on how to complete the application form, and guidance on projects eligible to apply for funding, will be made available on Monday 1st September 2025.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 26th October 2025.
