Meet our dedicated team members
Currently, we are a team of five consisting of the CEO, a Head of Operations & Education, an Ecologist, a Data Analyst, and a summer intern.

Jessi was brought up in Guernsey where she discovered her passion for the marine environment and nature more generally, Ms Jennings lived in New Zealand for several years, moving back to Guernsey in 2024. She has experience in environmental regulation, environmental policy development and biodiversity net gain outcomes as well as involvement with nature-related NGOs and citizen science projects.

Angela has maintained a strong passion for the natural environment throughout her life. Formerly a primary school teacher, Angela worked voluntarily alongside her teaching role for nearly twenty years as part of the Guernsey Conservation Volunteers (GCV). In September 2021, Angela left teaching to take up a paid part-time role for GCV as Operations Director.

Charlotte is a recently qualified ecologist, who brings with her a broad range of experience in practical and theoretical conservation, as well as a love for island life and its biodiversity. Charlotte was the first recipient of the La Société Guernesiaise Bursary in 2020, for her on-island research of management intensity on the biodiversity of hedgerows.

Karla recently graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with First Class Honours in Wildlife Conservation BSc and was awarded Best Student for her dissertation on rewilding grassland on former landfill sites. Now appointed as Assistant Ecologist Intern for 2025, she’s thrilled to be turning her passion for Guernsey’s environment into practical, meaningful work, while learning from experienced professionals and helping others connect with nature.
